Fertilising Your Garden – How and When to Fertilise* Ensure that your landscaped garden receives plenty of water, the soil should be moist but not wet. Depending on the season your garden may need to be watered daily.
* Feed when the garden is actively growing and therefore in need of fertilisers i.e spring and summer. Do not feed in winter.
* Use the appropriate fertiliser for the appropriate plants. For example only native plant fertilisers should be used on Australian Native plants.
* Slow release fertilisers are a great idea to slowly and continually feed your garden over the growing season.
