Tropical Garden Backyard Balgowlah Northern Beaches Sydney
Balgowlah on the Northern Beaches Sydney – Tropical Style Backyard Garden Design for the backyard surrounding the pool area and bbq area. We created an open design that connects the house to the garden, pool area and bbq area, including a day bed and timber decking seating area surrounded by a lush tropical garden.
Client Brief – Landscaping Outline
Create an attractive landscape that draws people from the house out into the garden and pool area. The garden also needed to be functional for young kids, provide a kids play area, namely a wide open lawn area and a basketball court! Plantings needed to be complementary to the house and be low maintenance. We used groupings of bold tropical foliage plants and rich colours, the result is a tranquil, lush tropical garden design. We also designed and built an open frame garden arbour (with edible grapes trained over), a spotted gum day bed and seating area surrounding the pool and bbq area.
